Hi Scott,

This is a beautiful intro to the use of keywords. You are the third or fourth person who has recommended Market Samurai, so yes it's on my must have list.

Thank you for a useful introduction to keywords. I've read other blogs on it, but this I found very enlightening and the analogy to climbing into the ring with a well-trained and seasoned fighter makes it very obvious why we need what Market Samurai can provide.

All the best,

Thanks Scott....you always offer such incredible value on your blog - love it! Hope you don't mind (LOL) but I've added a link to this post on my Online Mastery with Kathy Jodrey fan page!

I'm also using Micro Niche Finder and have been happy with it. Wondering if you think it's worth the money to ditch MNF and purchase Market Samurai?

Well put Scott. A whole lot of online marketers don't understand the subtle differences between low competition keywords and good keywords (due primarily to their lack of knowledge of keyword commerciality). Market Samurai has definitely been one of the best investments I've made since I've been in the IM game... worse maybe than my hosting and my autoresponder lol. Seriously though, I'm glad you picked such a useful tool to give tips on. People appreciate it!

Great post Scott. I can vouch for Market Samurai. I say it's the best, most complete SEO keyword tool on the market. It's a total steal at $150. Sometimes they even run specials for $100 or so. Crazy!

Scott,

What a great post. I've been at this game for a while and you taught me a thing or two about keywords. I appreciate the help. Like Fredric I use Micro Niche Finder and am very happy with it but sounds like I should look into Market Samurai as well.

You're always adding value. Appreciate that.

I found Market Samurai especially helpful to know where NOT to go. As you say, it is a good idea to find out who else is in the ring. It's kind of like a game, though, and can be fun.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for sharing some nuggets! A little GOLD does a marketer good. I think you're right, people don't realize just how critical a piece of the online marketing puzzle this is!

You definitely broke it down into some important points to ponder. I love doing keyword research, especially when it pans out into first page Google rankings!

Another great tool (PC only), is micro niche finder! I haven't tried Market Samurai yet but it's on my radar! Thanks for sharing.
